It is definitely true that big businesses have huge budgets for their ad campaigns. They invest a lot of money in promoting their brand, creating awareness of their brand, generating leads and gaining customers for their businesses. Hence making large profits.

But does that really mean that small businesses can’t make huge profits through ad campaigns?

Definitely NOT !

Small businesses can too make huge profits through their ad campaigns. The difference is, it might take a little more time for small businesses to generate more revenue. You can start with a good budget, with creating awareness about your brand.

THE BIGGEST MISTAKE THAT THE SMALL BUSINESSES DO IS SELLING DIRECTLY!

Yes! You should never directly pitch a sell. It might give a profit, but not a long term profit. Your aim should be to generate a increasing long term revenue.

Try to understand your target audience first. Their wants, their needs, their strengths, weaknesses, their choices, their income, etc. Have a thorough understanding of what your audience are. Depending upon that, be selective with your audience and create brand awareness campaigns for them. Let them know about your brand. Allow them some time to grasp something about your brand. And when you have a set of warm audience with you, let them know about your products and/or services. This will give them some time to know and trust your brand.

Later when you have a bunch of customers, provide them value. Which could be anything, like a special offer only for them, or a free gift or a free personalized gift voucher.

This will build you a set of loyal customers for your brand. To whom you can then sell more of your other products that you come up with!

Now that you have Good Revenue, you can increase your ad budget as well! And gain some more profits for your business.

Ads are just waste of money!

Yes, you read that right. Ads are just a waste of money, no matter where they are published, let that be Google, or Facebook or LinkedIn or Twitter or any other platform.

A lot of you I’m sure believes in this statement. Let me tell you why. Because you just don’t know who your target audience is. You don’t know whether you need to use a image or a video as a creative. You don’t care about what you’re copywriting. You are unaware of the advertisement policies that the platforms have.

There are so many why’s to this that I can state here right away. But since this is my First Ever Blog, I would go with keeping it short and crisp.

By giving you some quick tips on creating ads.

1. Have a bunch of creatives for every different campaign. Video creatives are the best to go with, since it saves the time of your audience.

2. Having a target audience is a must. Make sure it is done precisely.

3. Not just including your target audience is important but ‘excluding’ the unwanted audience is necessary as well. It helps you wasting your budget.

4. Schedule your ad after creating it. You could probably end up wasting your one day budget if you are creating and publishing your ad at late evening or night.

5. Do read the ad policies in detail. I understand it can be exhausting to read those huge pages. But it is Important! to get your ads published.
